ok, so I came up with a system for a guild tourney... I'd like some feedback.

The Guild Tourney will be held Saturday (8/30/2008) at 4PM EST.


It'll be in different level category's.


60-75 (Bracket A - BA)
76-90 (Bracket B - BB)
91-115 (Bracket C - BC)
115+ (Bracket D - BD)

If there is only 1 competitor in a category, he'll move to the on e closest to his level.
so a level 80 char would go to BA and a level 118 to BC.

Eventually, all the winners of every Bracket will go up against each other, BA winner vs. BB winner and BC winner vs. BD winner. Then the two winners will go against each other.

The winners from each bracket will get a prize, as will the eventual tourney winner.
I'll talk with skoosh about what the price will be.

There are also some rules needed... I was thinking about:
No Sneaker
No Satan
No Stun
No Asal
No HoP (Penya Strike)

I think DI should be allowed, jesters are pretty fragile, and without HoP or X-line (stuns) they'll be seriously limited. Which is why DI, imo, should be allowed.

The above rules can be altered for each match to balance things out and make it more fair. Like if a jester would have to go up to a high sta build char, he is permitted to use a certain amount on x-lines (hop maybe?).

Everyone will receive buffs from the same player (It'd be nice if skoosh could help out here <3).
Selfbuffs like asmodeous and enchant poison are permitted.

Now, about food. I think either salads or candies should be allowed to make the fights last longer. Though pills are too much, if you need pills to 1v1 a certain player you're obviously not a better PvPer then the other guy.

Now about the location, Thrym suggested the plain next to the sm station. is this ok with everyone?

I think this is a great idea, especially since gws are kinda fail atm. And since I want everyone to participate I think the prizes will be worth it *wink wink*. I also think this event might have to be held twice because we have 2 times during the day when we have the most people on. In the mornings and late afternoon (at least for me it is) so that we don't have people missing out on an event.

As for buffing all you nabcakes no problems with that here Everyone please let sonda know if you are going to participate so that we can start some kind of list as to who will be fighting who.

it's kinda unfair for mage classes if you can't skill... it's like stun to us.

are you... freaking serious?

DI is where jesters can go invisible. It's nice because we tend to have low hp so it lets you hide from people and then WHAM HoP them. dead.

know i think this is a good idea the only thing i want to know what about the masters or the game, these peaple have hellla def as well as they have major hitting power if they are a 1v1 so would these peaple fall under the lvl that they are
